Welcome to my new blog!

I am making a new series entitled "Video Spotlight". Since I am a YouTube user, I find it appropriate in creating this series.

This week in the video spotlight is a fantastic video called "The Asian 5" by YouTube user donutouch.

This hilarious video depicts the experiences of a pressured Asian student in a hilarious and very creative manner.

The video is entitled "The Asian 5" because it talks about the five courses that "Asian parents force their kids to do." These subjects are coined:

"The Asian 5"

Although one may foolishly pass this video off as the same old, same old, it's a fantastic construction of what some students have to go through (and if your an Australian, the pressure of the VCE exams). This comedic masterpiece goes beyond just being a comedic masterpiece. It's a thinly-veiled social critique. It's a subtle yet an imaginative social critique.
